First time staying at this hotel, and I will say this is one of the better hotels to stay at in the city. Check in staff was great. He was very friendly and courteous. The balcony was nice, it had two chairs and a small table. It would be a nice spot to have morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The balcony faces the bay and is away from the road, so it was quiet. Used a rollaway bed and it was what you would expect. It was clean and my son found it comfortable.

My room did not have a lake view, but a view to the courtyard which was ok. I got there late and left early so even with the most fantastic lakefront view I would not have enjoyed it as much as if I were traveling for leisure. The restaurants in front of the hotel increase the dining options. I loved the fact that The Oyster Bar was pretty much across the street.

My husband and I found ourselves stranded here during a snowstorm and not only is every item on the menu delicious (and we tried everything), the staff and management of this establishment give a genuine red carpet experience! In the midst of my most stressful experience, I was made to feel safe, special, and right at home.

I appreciated having a charging station in the garage for my electric car. The location right on the lake was great. We enjoyed our meal on the patio overlooking the lake; the server was terrific and went way out of her way to make us and our doggie comfortable. I also appreciated the exercise room -- good size and ample equipment.
